I'll do what I always do..
- Not fill it out! We got the long form this time around. Why does the government need to know... If my toilets flush What time I leave for work If I own the house with a mortgage? If I rent? How many times have I been married? Am I a grandparent responsible for a grandchild living here? And it only gets more personal from there. I checked and all you are legally required to report is the number of people in your household, that's it!

- you must fill it out. how do you think they allocate funds for your town or community? census data. how do businesses determine where to invest? census data. what determines where they locate hospitals, clinics, police and fire stations? census data. and as far as it being "an invasion of privacy under the constitution" it's MANDATED BY THE CONSTITUTION article 13 and 44. every 10 yrs SINCE 1790! read it before quoting it. census employees take an oath because it is against CONSTITUTIONAL LAW to divulge your info for 72 YRS.!!. ITS FOR DATA PURPOSES ONLY. research before panic

Numbers Only
- Anything beyond numbers is an intrusion on a free and color-less society.

2010 CENSUS
- All Washington needs to know is how many people is in my household. Anything else is an invasion of privacy under our Constitution...

Lie About the Number of People next Door
- I will tell the truth about how many are in my house, and nothing more. Then tell them about the hundreds of people living in the house next door, and across the street. The more peeps counted, the More Federal Money into the neighborhood.

Maybe
- I might fill out all of the questions. For the first time they are including questions concerning Race & Ethnicity. It will be the first time I can claim my Spanish background. Maybe now my kids can get some of that free college money that the "Hispanics" claim all the time. The census question ask if you are of Spanish/Hispanic/Latino decent. This is the first time Spanish is listed with Hispanic.

Census
- Of course I will fill out my census form. If we don't how is the government supposed to find out how many people are here. Don't people understand that the IRS, Social Security, etc. already have all our information. But they have other uses for our information. We need to respond to the census in a polite and helpful manner! I think it is outrageous that a census worker has been murdered! There is a nut base of about 20% in this country who are living in some other world. Bush's government did such a number on their heads they can't get out of the fear and paranoia the Bush government pushed for eight years! What is worse they don't even realize how nuts they are. People having a fit about GPS location of their houses. Don't they realize that anyone with a computer can go on Google Earth and find their house? Or if it is in a less detailed area almost anyone can get the connections to look through other satellite imaging! How can people be so ignorant?

Not a Chance
- I will politely tell the census taker that I, as an American, a veteran, and a Reverend, choose not to participate.

Completely Private?
- You stated that the Census information is "kept completely private" for seventy years. As they would say on Saturday Night Live, "Really? I mean, REALLY?" Ask the Southerners whose "private" Census information was used to pave Sherman's "scorched earth" March to the Sea. Ask the Japanese-Americans, whose "private" Census information was utilized to send them to concentration camps during World War II. http://www.toad.com/gnu/census.html Wake up, people! It is our duty and civic responsibility NOT to participate in the U.S. Census, other than to state how many persons live in our households. That's it. Anything else is an invasion of privacy.

It's an invasion of privacy
- If you've seen the form, you know it is a horrendous invasion of privacy. Why do the feds need to know what time I leave for work? Why do they need to ask about my mental health? Officially there is an "up to" $5,000 penalty for not responding but it has NEVER been enforced since the Census was established. If you are concerned about penalties for not responding, check this out: http://www.survivalarts.com/archives/001095.html All they do is send a minimum wage flunky out to harass you in person over a 3-month period, then they go away. I know; it's happened to me. In 2010 I will provide them with the number of people in my household PERIOD. Anything beyond that is an invasion of my privacy and I personally do not choose to allow the government into my life to that extent.
