Sure thing - Why not?

Since the gov. already knows the answer to all the questions, you might as well fill the damn thing out. It might save us some tax dollars hiring people to hunt down the information you refused to give because it's your "constitutional right" Get over it !! They are not asking anything that they don't already know. It just makes it nice and clean to have all the info in one place.

I will give just as much as I did the last time. Number of persons living in our household. Period!

No Way, No How

No I am not going to fill out the survey. They already know everything, I have the right as a tax paying citizen to live without any further intrusion of govt. Glad to see many here are posting the same. Lets send a loud and clear message to Big Brother!

Hell-NO ....this is UNCONSTITUTIONAL

The U.S. Constitution states that the census count is for "U.S. citizen's". Where is the citizenship question on this form. This is not a census, this is just a headcount. These illegal heads counted will then get US representation and welfare

Standing Up

I am thrilled to see so many standing up for what is right! That's what it's about, for all of you asking, what's the big deal. For sl1ck here, you need to read the constitution as it appears most here already have. The only answer needed is the amount of people in the household...period! It was solely designed to know how many constituents are in a district to ensure their representation in the house. If they want to know my income, check with the IRS (FairTax.org), sorry had to throw that in, do I own or rent, check the county tax records, etc. If you haven't figured it out yet, I will only give what is constitutionally required!

Did you read the long form?

Did mapczar or pennylane1493 actually read the long form? Did you see the questions that are asked?
—Guest Guest No

Constitution Only

At my place of work and your's there is a poster on the bulletin board that says the employer and the government cannot ask your color creed or religion. But even on the new short form it asks your color so just answer the first question how many people live in your house that is all that is required. As to the rest of it they already know your name, address, e-mail, phone number and how many times a day you take a crap. tell the government to butt out any census takers on my property will be escorted out by the police.
—Guest Scott

I will comply with the U.S. Constitution

I will give my name, date of birth and address only. If they come to my house the police will be called to remove them if they do not leave.
—Guest Steve

wait a second

They get my count only and as to article 13 as far as I can tell abolishes slavery and i don't think their is an article 44 ?
—Guest noway

AH Hell no ! ! ! !

I'll be standing @ the door with Police- issued Pepper mace and a Lighter . I will nicely ask them to leave and GIVE THEM 10 seconds( Hi how are you....yeah! you have 10 seconds to leave, 5 seconds just expired while you were showing me your ID, yeah, thats nice ... Leave now or i'll have you arrested and charged with a B & E / tresspassing on private Property.....Yeah! Leave now is all i have to say ! ! yup go now )
—NO_OBAMA

NOT ME !!!!

I will only answe numbere in my household, according to the US Constitution, that is all I need to answer, anything else is a clear violation oft the 4th and 5th amendment
—Guest GJL

Why?

The govt. has, as it does with everything else, completely subverted the reasons and methods for the census. Gerrymandering districts to create or maintain political control is NOT in the Constitution. If they think I am going to allow their hired felons into my home and share very personal info with them, they are out of their freaking minds.
—Guest jrskpr

Just the required portion

i will surely obey the law and supply the # of people in household . like stated before, " they already know all about you.....", well then, they dont need me to fill it out. We all have the same oportunities as the whites, we just dont use them. Hand-outs hurt a minority and cause others to look down upon us. Let us take care of ourselves, we dont need your "so called"help. Your help comes with too much controll.

no brainer

most of the self-professed constitutionalists would ante up more sensitive information than the census short form asks in a new york second if there were money involved.and there is much money involved here.maybe the government which we own,and can only blame ourselves for losing, should ask people if they would like to forgo their ssi money or medicaid cards in lieu of responding? As for a"colorless" society, that;s delusional hogwash.Being politically "correct" doesn't help solve any of the very real dislocations in this society.
