They will loose my personal data (again)

I participated in an in-depth census survey a couple of years ago ... then heard about census workers misplacing their laptops. Now I don't care how many times they tell me the data is safe - What is preventing that old lady from leaving that laptop at a coffee shop? Lesson learned - no more surveys - # of pers. in household only - thanks but no thanks, we spend too much money on liberal programs anyway.

census

They get the number of people living here and nothing else. Most of the other questions are answered annually to the IRS. I do not trust the census bureau with regards to privacy matters and I don't trust obama or his acorn pals at all with regards to anything. he's going to get his filthy hands on the information whether we answer the questions or not.

partially

Number of people who live here and race but I will check the box marked Other and write in American. FYI Ih8rednecks - I am NOT a tea partyer nor a Republican but I am a free thinking American and the Constitution of these United States ONLY requires a headcount. YOU might try reading it.

The government is for the people?

I am not a redneck and I don't need my teeth fixed. I have a master's degree, and I educate children. I have actually read the U.S. constitution. My homeownership status didn't seem to be important enough to be included by the founding fathers...So why should I include it? For those who call me paranoid, all I have to say is read some of the accounts from Europe during the 30's. Those who questioned Hitler at first were also called Paranoid.(later they were just killed.) Just because someone is a smooth talker, doesn't mean they have your best interests at heart. Stop and ask "why" once in a while, then research the answers for yourself rather than trusting others... It won't make you popular, but it might enlighten you a bit.

Only the number living in the residence!

Somehow the National Socialist German Worker's Party (NSDAP) had significant information about the people of Germany. Could it have come from some form of census? The end result was what is now known as the Holocaust. Paranoia? Maybe? But with the use of information from invasive questions, such as one’s race, combined with the use of modern-day computers, who is to say what this personal information can eventually be used for. If the Nazi’s had had computers like we now have would the Holocaust have started sooner resulting in the deaths of a great many more? And Or would the Waffen SS have been able to successfully kill by means of a quiet movement resulting in the deaths of even more so-called undesirables ? Who knows? The US Constitution is designed protect individuals and to prevent such tyrannical regimes from ultimately coming to power. It is not a living document!! Thus we only need to tell the government how many reside in the residence.

Anarchy

The United States Government in Washington due to a very long abrogation of it's adherence to the Constitution is in Anarchy. It is an outlaw entity. We have a cold Civil war and we have a Constitutional Crisis. No law is in effect at this point because the government is not operating inside the law which is the Constitution. Even though the Census is a Constitutional requirement, it is also a Constitutional requirement that the Congress and the Executive and the government itself operate inside the Constitution. They are not doing this. I will answer only the Name, age and Citizenship questions. Tea Party people are not Republicans. The Republicans and the Democrats have had 150 years to run this country and run it into the ground they have. "The Constitution Can not Protect Itself". "We the People" must do so.

Yes but . . .

I am fundamentally opposed to filling out the form as it is constructed. The Federal government does not need to know all of this information about me or my household. However, unlike some of the handful of comments I've read on this page, I checked the law. Essentially there is a law (13 USC Sec. 221) that says we have to honestly and completely answer any question "submitted to him in connection with any census or survey". Or get fined $100 for not answering or $500 for lying. Rather than get fined, I'll pay with my vote . . . against.

No

I will only fill out head count and race. ( )White ( )Black (X)Other..............American There is no need for race we are all Americans that alone should be all they need
—Guest Jl

Not filling out whole form

I'm only filling out how many live in the house and our nationality so that maybe if there are enough of us we will be able to still speak English. Our age, mortgage status info violates my privacy and I'm not answering.
—freelk

Why do they ask?

Can anyone tell me why the Census Bureau feels it needs to know any of the requested information other than how many persons live in a household? What does anything else have to do with getting a count?
—Guest JR

You crazy Tea Partiers

Did you all fill out the census in 1990 for George Bush I? Did you all fill out the form in 1980 for Reagan? How about in 1970 with Nixon? The form has gone through some changes, including domestic partnerships and the understanding of the ethnic murkiness of the hispanic american population, which is a progressive positive step. Listen all you law and order types; It is the LAW to respond to the census in a truthful manner. Believe me, Id rather all you yahoos not answer and diminish your power in DC and send more money to my community. In fact, as one previous post stated, throw yours in the fireplace....please.

I will complete only what is important

They only need a head count.......and I see no reason to fill in my name, birthdate, etc......I don't believe we are compelled to complete anything else. The govt. knows too much of our business as it is!!!

GOT LOST IN THE MAIL

Gee, I have been traveling, never got it. Oops. Should I count my only child (dog) as a dependent if someone shows up at my door? I am a law abiding citizen and from what I hear these questions are none of their ---- business. They already know it anyway. Stop wasting my money. If Washington minded their own P&Q's as they do our's, we might be in a better state of affairs. What's next?-"What do you use for birth control?" Simple, I don't "Do It"..& that is none of their ---- business either.
—Guest GB

the question is too detail

How come they need birthday to the exact days. Can't we just put the age. I was planning to fill it out, but now i'll give it a second thought.
—Guest hahahehe

none-ya

theyll only get from me what's constitutionally mandated. thats head count. nothing more. it has NOTHING to do with paranoia. it has to do with LIBERTY. you give them an inch and they'll take a mile. to hell with them
