Not Gonna Do It....

I'm going to state that two people live here. Nothing else for that matter. I bet Rush Limbaugh would be proud of us. PS How come Rush doesn't get the census in the mail? I heard him mention it on the radio.

Yes But Limited Responses.

I am only putting down 2 adults. Legally, they can't ask for anymore info.

A Minimum

I responded with the number of persons only. My personal information has been compromised three times already...all government agencies with computers that were hacked or employees that took laptops home. I now have a permanant freeze on my credit. No...I don't trust them!
—Guest Flouncey

required?

I am only stating persons in my household. I don't believe that by law there are any other requirements.

Great questions to ask

QUESTIONS THAT CENSUS BUREAU REFUSED OR FAILED TO ANSWER (from Jerry Day’s Matrix News Network segment: “The Census Is Getting Personal”): 1. The Constitution authorizes government to count people but it does not authorize the taking of private information or even the names of individuals. From where does the Census Bureau derive authority to demand our private information? 2. Is there any limit to the amount and type of private information that the Census bureau may demand and collect? 3. Under what Constitutional authority does the Census Bureau collect information now from 250,000 people per month of every year? 4. The 4th Amendment to the Constitution prohibits government search and seizure of private information without a court warrant based on probable cause, Current Census policies violate that Amendment do they not? 5. By what Constitutional authority does the Census Bureau threaten penalties for failure to provide personal information?

What's with everyone?- to guest jdm

Since you are so dim witted to think that everyone with a real fear of the abuses of the US government should leave for Russia - let me help raise your awareness. Not everyone has the privilege to lean on mommy and daddy their whole f.ing lives and have been royally f***kd by the government and its abuse of power. Invalidating the very real fears based upon very real experiences, and telling us to move to Russia only shows how ignorant you are of the abuse of our government. Living in a fantasy bubble - you got some waking up to do! Unless you have been victimized by law enforcement, or the US government, you will never relate or understand how valid everyone's concerns really are! Hate to burst your little bubble. Some folks have very real problems with being threatened that it is a crime to not respond to the census - after the government has raped them for everything they have.

Only minimum

All they need to know is # of people and sex and age. and when they say all information is confidential and cant be released for 70 years, thats BS. How about when 3 million japanese americans were shipped off to camps after pearl harbor during wwii. they located them through census info. Look up house resolution 645 and learn about the new camps. They gotta make sure its big enough. They say these places are being built to protect us from war or national emergency. Read your history much? sound familiar? WAKE UP!!!

Don't lick the envelope...

I don't know if anyone covered this, but it's worth mentioning. Your DNA can be extracted from the glue if you lick it...use a wet sponge. There are going to be a lot of us in jail.

Census knowing who you are

They know who we are as each is bar coded with that info and they have already GPS our houses. So, it is not anonymous as someone suggested here.

FIGHT FOR FREEDOM

I love my country, but don't care for the Government. I will be an honerable citizen and give them # of members in the house, ages, and us citizen. I am a Native American and i refuse to allow the government to take away anything like my Ancestors. Our freedom is deminishing slowly . And one day we will be inslaved by this same government that so many people trust.

2010 Census

I agree with all the other comments above but took it one step further and crossed out the spaces for persons 3-12 to make sure that no one tries to fill this in. I also only put in age and no birthdates and ran a copy for my records in case they come knocking on my door, I can show proof that I sent it in.

Census information,

I've been a detective for 24 years. All I need to know about you is your date of birth and name. From there I can get your SS#, credit rating, criminal history, driving record, how many cars or even how many guns you own. Giving out this information is too intrusive, tell them how many people live in your house that's all they need to know! I agree that the race answer should be human. I've worked for the government a long time, law enforcement has to have consent, probable cause or a warrant to get this information from you and we play by the rules. I don't know who would issue any citation or fine for not cooperating but can assure it won't be me or anyone I work with.

whats with everyone

I read some of these responses and wonder "whats wrong with you people"? What do you think is going happen as a result of the census? If you distrust our gov. so much, maybe its time you left. Go to Russia or China. See if you like it better there.

BS

This is BS... I Pay my taxes. Why don't they just count my deductions instead of wasting tax payer money?
