never have gotten a census form in my life until this one. missed the four previous counts so it wasn't so important then I guess, but that was before we have been overrun by illegals from all areas.

Sick of Big Government!

The only information we are required to give, based upon the Constitution (remember that document, the one we're SUPPOSED to be following) is the number of people in our household. NO ONE needs to know anything else. Big Government needs to keep it's big nose out of my home! I miss the old America of free speech and free people. Our own government is enslaving us!

Bedrooms?

Census taker just came to my door. She said she needed to know who sleeps in each bedroom. I told her there were 6 people in the household and all family members. Why do they need to know who sleeps where?

Mr. and Mrs.

We have a P. O. Box and the Post Office refuses to deliver census to us. We did get notice it was to be mailed, however.

Dept. of Ed Harassment

For 10 years I've been Harassed by the Department of Education about student loans that I will never be able to pay back because of a head injury from a car accident while attending college. Because it goes on my credit report and that gives me bad credit and because it took me so long to learn to read, write and speak and use my right hand again and the economy I can't get a job anyway. It took me years of moving around to get them to stop calling me and everyone I knew. They have violated FTC regulations. My husband has to fill out an injured spouse form at tax time every year just to get what is rightfully his. We rent a room from a friend and we use his phone number and address. I don't want to put our info there, namely the phone number, because they will never stop calling if we do. I don't want them to know it. They know where I am, I am just sick of the harassment. They want $14,000.00 when the only cash I ever had in my hand was no more than $4,500.00. I don't want to talk.

They already know!

My SSAN was issued by the government. I pay property and income taxes to the government. I file taxes every year and know who I am and information about me. The government run school district that my kids go to have lots of information on us. This is enough for me. Be nice to the Census Taker and ask them to leave, advising them I'll be awaiting my Court Summons...

I filled it out Zach_Attack: I filled out my census for and sent it back. I did my civic duty, did you do yours? I say: Zach, its only your civic duty to fill out the first question via the Constitution. You make a good little government robot serf. Zach, I did my civic duty. I filled out question one: how many people are in my house. Filled nothing else out and mailed it.

Geneology and enumeration answers only

Having done some genologic research, the 1860 census information was helpful and interesting. So, to help my ggggrandkids, I gave names, ages (not date of birth) and race, along with home ownership information. The home ownership information is currently available through the county recorders office anyway so no great secret (I get about 3 offers to refinance each month). Just to remind them, I wrote in that my phone number and ethnic origin were not required for enumeration purposes. I suspect I'll have a visit again this June... and I'll answer the same way. Name, Age, Race only.

Giving names....

I'll give names, dates of birth, that's it. They don't need phone numbers. As someone who has done extensive geneaology research, past census info has been invaluable for me to find relatives ... if names are not given, you cannot trace ancestors (when the census info is made public 73 years after being taken). Don't see the need for phone numbers to trace ancestors though.

The only reason for the Census is race

All of the information requested on the Census form is available on my income tax form with the exception of race. As my race is "White" and I will not benefit my community in higher government aid (never has). I decline to fill out the form

Census

The constituition only requires a headcount. You only need to answer question 1. All the other questions are bogus and you would be wise not to answer them.
