Pepsi
- I don't think you people are paying attention. It's been an awful long while since a new island has been discovered so rather obviously one soon will and go direct to independence. I suspect that, when the residents discover that naming it Pepsi will get each of them a free year's supply, they'll go for that idea, but I'm just guessing on that part.

Kurdistan
- I think central Asia is falling to pieces and we will definitely start seeing new powers, for better or worse, emerge there in the next decade or two. Kurdistan (which would constitute mostly regions of northern Iraq and southern Turkey) seems like a good enough candidate to me, though I'm sure it will really be some place in that region I've never heard of.

- Twenty years ago North and South Yemen was united into Yemen. But now the south with most of the natural ressources has a strong independence movement.
