Oldest Cities in the United States

The United States today is the third largest country in the world based on land area with a total of 3,794,100 square miles (9,826,675 sq km). It also has a population of 313,232,044 people (July 2011 estimate) and it is divided into 50 states and hundreds of different cities. Initially in 1732, the United States was made up of the original 13 colonies. However there were cities in the country long before its founding in 1776 and the formation of the 13 colonies.

The following is list of the 15 oldest continuously inhabited cities in the United States.
