Humidity

By Matt Rosenberg, About.com

Definition: The amount of water vapor in the air; relative humidity is expressed as a percentage with 100% humidity as the dew point of maximum water vapor saturation in the air.
Examples: Phoenix once had very low humidity so it was very dry during the summer. Now, with more swimming pools and lawns, the city's humidity is increasing, making the "dry heat" not so dry.
