The Bottom Line

This is the second in the GeoPuzzle series and is a simple political map of Asia divided into puzzle pieces. Designed for elementary-aged children, this puzzle is sure to provide them with geographic knowledge of Asia. It's a great gift!

Pros

  • Pieces shaped like countries.
  • Simple political map is great for younger children.
  • Reasonably priced.
  • Colorful!
  • Puzzle even includes the world's newest country, East Timor.

Cons

  • Teens aren't likely to find it complicated enough.
  • Lacks any detail except country boundaries.

Description

  • Cardboard puzzle is 19 inches wide and 16 inches high.
  • Puzzle includes 50 pieces, many are shaped like countries.
  • Recommended for children ages four an up.

Guide Review - GeoPuzzle Asia

This second in the GeoPuzzle series covers Asia from southern Russia in the north to Australia in the south and eastern Iran in the west to Palau (the world's second newest country) in the east. Most of the pieces are shaped like a country or a grouping of countries. In cases like China, four large purple pieces make up the entire country. The puzzle lacks any detail beyond political boundaries but since it's designed for elementary children, it provides an appropriate level of detail. I highly recommend this puzzle to help children learn about the geography of Asia!
