Make the Geography Site Your Home Page

There's no reason to have the Netscape, Microsoft, or AOL web site your "home" page on your browser. By making the Geography site your home page, when you turn on your browser you'll have immediate access to the extensive resources available at this site or the entire Internet by using the "search" function.

Here's how to make http://geography.about.com your "home:"

Netscape 2-3

1. Click "Options" on the menu bar
2. Click "General Preferences"
3. Select the tab labeled "Appearance"
4. In the text box, type http://geography.about.com
5. Click "OK"

Netscape 4

1. Click "Edit" on the menu bar
2. Click "Preferences"
3. Make sure the "Home Page" button is highlighted
4. In the "Location" text box, type http://geography.about.com
5. Click "OK"

Internet Explorer

1. Click "View" on the menu bar
2. Click "Options"
3. Select the tab labeled "Navigation"
4. In the text box, type http://geography.about.com
5. Click "OK"

AOL Web Browser

1. Click "Members" then "Preferences" on the menu bar
