Guide Review
Red Squares Are Back
Michelin has teamed up with MapQuest to produce a compact road atlas the cover North America at consistent scale. It replaces the National Geographic Road Atlas, which used MapQuest maps.

Like the Michelin road atlases of Europe, the continent is covered by grids - a little awkward when first using the atlas but it makes much more sense.

The MapQuest maps are clear and easy to read and include tiny red squares to indicate points of interest - these favorite red squares make the map so very worthwhile when on a spontaneous road trip or even when planning a drive. I definitely intend to pack this compact atlas on any future trip, even if I won't be driving much - it's so very wonderful to have such a quality road atlas available.
