City Hall

Built in 1996, this attractive administration building is now the prominent landmark in Fillmore. In front (west) of City Hall lies Central Park, complete with a fountain, benches, and adequate space for public gatherings. Inside, the building is just as stately with oak counters and a responsive city staff. The gold colored dome atop the building shines brightly on sunny days. To the immediate north of City Hall is one of the town's destinations, the train rides (which has about 30,000 riders per year). Built to look old, the city did an excellent job in creating an image of nostalgia.
