411 Central Avenue - Fillmore Natural History Museum

The Fillmore Natural History Museum is one of two museums in town (the other being the historical museum). It was probably once a 1940s era grocery or department store with display windows across the front which have since been covered up though the red dividers remain. The Museum has limited hours and has steep admission prices - $5.00 for adults, $2.50 for children, and $2.00 per person for organized school field trips. The doorway is blocked with opaque plastic and there are no descriptions of the museum on the exterior so one is leery to enter for the contents within are unknown.
