Currently being rebuilt following damage in the 1994 earthquake, the Centro de Salud Familiar de Fillmore (Fillmore Family Medical Clinic) will serve the community which lacks a full-fledged hospital (the nearest is in Santa Paula, approximately 9 miles to the west). The sign posted on the clinic suggests a completion date of mid-1997.
