316 Central Avenue - Vacant Bank

This bank building was built in 1917. It originally served as Fillmore State Bank but then became the Bank of Italy in 1927. Bank of Italy changed its name to Bank of America in 1930 and in 1965 the Bank of A. Levy took control of the building. It later became Citizen State Bank and most recently became Santa Barbara Bank and Trust. The building is currently vacant and for rent from CB Commercial. The building is a Ventura County Historical Landmark. Note the impressive detail above the arch.
