Each year, there are approximately 46 million people who visit the United States from foreign countries. Tourists from Canada and Mexico represent about half of the visitors with 15 million and 8.5 million annual visitors respectively.Japan (5 million), the United Kingdom (3 million), and Germany (2 million) round out the top five.
