What is the largest U.S. island?

The largest island that is part of the United States is the island of Hawaii at 4,021 square miles (10,414 km2). The country's second largest is Kodiak Island off the coast of Alaska at 3,485 square miles (9,025 km2) and Puerto Rico is the country's third largest at 3,435 mi2 (8,897 km2).
