American FactFinder: New Maps

Saturday January 28, 2006
The U.S. Census Bureau's American FactFinder site has a collection of 120 tables and more than 80 thematic maps based on new data from 2004's American Community Survey. Follow this link to the FactFinder home, then go to "get data" for the American Community Survey. There you'll see the option for Thematic Maps. Select that and you'll be able to view a plethora of fantastic maps by state. You can also change the number of classes and the classing method! The American Community Survey replaces the long form of the decennial U.S. Census.
