Sunday February 8, 2004
In the U.S., there are 2.3 million weddings annually; that's about 6,200 a day!

In 2002, there were 123,300 marriages performed in Nevada; so many couples tie the knot in the Silver State that it ranked fifth nationally in marriages, even though its total population that year was 35th!

The median ages at first marriage for women and men are 25.3 and 26.9 respectively. The age for women is up 4.4 years in the last three decades. The age for men is up 3.6 years. Check out more romantic statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau.
