BeautyWhile we say that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder," perhaps it is more appropriate to say that "beauty is in the geography of the beholder" for geography plays a significant role in how feminine beauty is perceived. In her new article, Geography of Beauty, geographer Claire Y. Weber explores a variety of conceptions of beauty around our planet, based on the geographic factors that contribute to how beauty is viewed.
