The question, "What is geography?" is a great one. Fortunately, I have a plethora of resources to help you find the answer. First, take a look at this collection of definitions of geography and this overview of geography. From there, you might want to learn about physical geography and cultural geography. Once you're on your way, don't miss the four traditions of geography, five themes of geography, and eighteen national geography standards. It is very good, Mr. Rosenberg, but I would have liked to incorporate geographers like David Harvey, Milton Santos, Yves Lacoste, Ed Soja, Doreen Massey, etc. just because I like a pluralistic Geography you can see all visions. I also like to see the work of Mike Goodchild, Peter Haggett, Fred Schaeffer, Walter Christaller and others with a different view. Thank you.
Actually, when I was in my high school, I had always had the question, “What Is Gerography”, then, During my study on geography I found much information and create more skills thoughts about the study of the earth known as “Geography”. But how much does it take to find the differences between astronomy and geography. I wonder I’ve not tell you the correct conclusions in my mind. so, the first question that comes to mind is If geography wasn’t tell people facts about the universe because astronomy and cosmology study those objcets.. I couldn’t thought about who created geography, I simply know that when the universe became to exist it was all about the study of the universe.
“I don’t know what you mean by ‘glory,’ ” Alice said.
Humpty Dumpty smiled contemptuously. “Of course you don’t—till I tell you. I meant ‘there’s a nice knock-down argument for you!’ ”
“But ‘glory’ doesn’t mean ‘a nice knock-down argument’,” Alice objected.
“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.”
“The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many different things.”
“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master that’s all.” Lewis Carrol’s Though the Looking Glass
