While most are familiar with the concept of river tributaries, the streams that feed into a larger river, there is a less-common situation where a river divides into smaller streams. Sometimes it is neither heads no tails. Sometimes a coin could land on its edge. Good article. Except for islands in rivers I don’t thnk I would have predicted any examples so small are the hydaulic differences.
