While most developed countries are only ranked as having a "medium" risk, the developing world is at extremely high risk. Here are the ten countries at highest risk for climate change:
1. Bangladesh

As I posted in a “forum” message here in 2007, the “Washington Post” newspaper reported on 26 Sept 2007 that
by the year 2020, and estimated 20 percent of Bangladesh will be underwater, and 20 million inhabitants left without their homes or farms. Under a program of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, floating schoolhouses are already operating in Bangladesh, and future floating villages, gardens and hospitals are contemplated.
Bangladesh by the way, is the home country of Mohammad Yunus, who won the Nobel Peace Prize for his concept of the Grameen Bank which has helped millions of peasants, especially women, start small businesses through micro-loans.
