New UNESCO World Heritage Sites

UNESCO's World Heritage Committee has met and has added 21 new sites to the listing of World Heritage Sites. Kiribati, Marshall Islands and Tajikistan had their first sites added to the list. Additions include Australian Convict Sites, Bikini Atoll Nuclear Test Site, Central Highlands of Sri Lanka, and the seventeenth-century Canal Ring Area inside the Singelgracht, Amsterdam.
