Thanks to the Passport blog for mentioning a new advantage to global warming! They report on a boundary dispute over an island in the Bay of Bengal. India and Bangladesh have been disputing for a long time as to which country controlled New Moore Island (also known as South Talpatti Island). Thanks to global warming and rising sea levels, the island is now submerged and so the issue over the control of the island is a moot point!

Did you mean “now” rather than “not” submerged?
According to me, this looks so stupidous one. since the whole world is sinking now, this makes the living place is getting shorter than before. in this time we have to reduce the global warming. so please think it of how to reduce the global warming instead of thinking the stuidous one.
Matt, If seas levels continue to rise, coastal property owners around the world become a new faction of economic migrants. Rahul, one of several solutions to reduce our carbon footprint is 2-child families, and this requires improved health care practices in the developing world. Is this stuidous or stupidous?
This has more to do with shifting sands and tides than global warming. Hundreds of islands like this appear and disappear each century. Nothing new here.
Erosion does not work that way doubter.
Dear Doubter,
last time I checked, a lot of islands are getting more flooded compared to times before. Maybe there’s a bit to do with shifting sands, but global warming plays a HUGE part in it. So shut yo face.
