The Unofficial Census, a project of a group called Census Digitus, provides an online mock-Census 2010 form with the same questions as on the questionnaires. Their goal? "To shame the U.S. Census Office for not having a method of online submission. This is 2010! Even the IRS, whose forms are much more complicated, allows online submission." They suggest that the Census Bureau continue to mail the forms to every household but print a unique code on the form that would allow online submission. Check it out and share your thoughts...

I think the census is trying to keep the post office in business. They send a letter saying they are going to send you another letter that has your census form in it. Then you have to send it back. Government at it finest.
UPDATE: I just received a post card from the census reminding me to fill it out and send it in.
