Happy Geography Awareness Week! November 15-21 is Geography Awareness Week! This year's theme is "Get Lost in Mapping: Find Your Place in the World" and there's no better place to start thinking about Geography Awareness Week than my site here at geography.about.com and on the official My Wonderful World Geography Awareness Week website, where you can download free wall maps from National Geography and get involved in supporting geographic education! Hmmmm… Geography Awareness Week. What is the point in it? I don’t get it. I love geography. You can tell me any country and I will tell you it’s capital. I suppose you call that geography. Do you? Oh, that reminds me. Matt, how are you? Where is Mt. Kilimjaro located? I have a S.S projet and the maps are crap that they provide us. I think it is in Kenya (capital = Narobi. Can someone help me by 11-29-09?
