According to the CDC's National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), life expectancy from birth in the United States reached record levels in 2007. In 2007, both male and female life expectancies increased to 75.3 years for males and to 80.4 years for females. The highest life expectancy was for white females at 80.7 years.
