Tiny Island Causes Major Conflict

Smaller than an acre, Migingo Island in Lake Victoria lies directly on the border of Kenya and Uganda. The two countries are disputing their boundary and their control over the island. Each country wants control of the island and its surrounding waters to control the catch of fish in Lake Victoria, especially as lake levels drop. Read about this intriguing island of 300 fishermen and prostitutes that politicians are vowing to go to war over.

Three hundred fishermen and prostitutes on less than an acre. I presume the prostitutes render their services awhile standing ala Elizabethan England.
