Is Climate Change a Threat to National Security?

Military analysts say that global warming will raise "the prospect of military intervention to deal with the effects of violent storms, drought, mass migration and pandemics" by the United States military.  The Pentagon is considering potential scenarios that would make for geopolitical turmoil that might have to include military intervention.  The New York Times reports.
