In light of NATO's recent expansion to 28 countries as Albania and Croatia joined on April 1, NATO introduces a new map game that allows users to identify NATO member countries and NATO partners. The graphics look great but the interface is a bit clunky in that you constantly need to change the scale and recenter the map as you select countries. Nonetheless, it's a fun game.

Many of the new countries joining NATO are doing so to gain protection from Russia and to gain access to NATO military equipment.
Another, maybe unexpected benefit of countries joining NATO is that now being part of a group, they are less likely to engage in wars with each other. Which makes the world a safer place for everyone.
I truly believe NATO is archaic and asinine. Don’t get me wrong, I still believe Russia can be a problem, but with even Russia wanting to join, it is time to get rid of it and have it absorbed in to the UN— even though they are inept. It is time to save money and move into the 21st century. NATO was suppose to be used to prevent the spread of Communism…it has no purpose today. (Besides the fact the US is carrying it along like everything in this world).
