Great Wall of China Grows

By May 17, 2009

Follow me on:

The Great Wall of China, has been found to be much longer than previously thought, thanks to geographic studies using infra-red and GPS found many areas concealed over time by sandstorms. While previously thought to be about 5,000 kilometers (3,100 miles) long, the Great Wall of China is now estimated at 8,850 km (5,500 miles).

(1) Paul says:

Since 2004, I’ve not bothered to visit About.com. Now I remember why I stopped reading About.com: the prolific Secular Gnostic “CE” and “BCE” made the reading very difficult, elitist, and alienating.

Beyond that, it’s tough to take an organization seriously, that changes the names but keeps the same focus point, thinking it’s done something significant.

Go back to BC and AD; restore some of your original credibility.

Paul.I am a Judeo Christian and I taught Geography this past year in China. You need to lighten up a bit bro. There is nothing elitist about the CE and BCE acronyms.
