The British Medical Journal has published a study that shows that there are 32 million more males under the age of 20 in China than females. This huge disparity is due to the Chinese preference for sons and the selective abortion of female fetuses under China's one child law. According to the report, "For the next 20 years, China will have increasingly more men than women of reproductive age."
