The New Baby Boom

It's official! The 4,317,119 recorded births in the United States in 2007 broke the nation's record set in 1957 at the height of the Baby Boom. Likewise, the prior year of 2006 was a banner year for births with 4,265,555 births in the U.S. However, experts predict that due to the economic recession, the total number of births in the United States the total number of births will decrease over the next few years.
