Belarus Warned on South Ossetia and Abkhazia Recognition

The European Union warned Belarus that they might wish to avoid becoming the third country to recognize South Ossetia and Abkhazia as independent (and following in the footsteps of Russia and Nicaragua). The EU warned Belarus that if they recognize the separatist territories of Georgia, relations between the EU and Belarus will be strained.
