The Map Room posts a fantastic animated map that dramatically shows the growth of Target Stores across the United States from 1969 to today. It's a great map to watch.
Target stores eventually will run out of new places to open stores. When growth slows, investors will look at the debt accumulated in the expansion and the outlook and expectations of investors will wane, along with the stock price. Then maybe Target will go the way of KMart, Sears, Woolworths, Circuit City and other retailers.

Target closed the store in Indianapolis on the citys south east street location which was really close to Downtown Indianapolis. Which those of us who live and work Downtown It has forced us to shop at Kmart. Target really needs to rethink a store close to Downtown Indianapolis Thank You Use to shop at Target about 2 to 3 times a week Lisa
