Thanks to the atlas(t) blog, I discovered the very interesting Baby Name Mapper which allows you to type in a name and obtain the geographical history of the name since 1960 in the United States. It's fun!
Only has USA, so I suppose the rest of the world remains nameless?
By the way, how did the World Series go?

Regarding the mapping of other countries, it would appear that the Baby Name Mapper folks have creatively tapped into the massive U.S. Census database. Not sure how census databases from other countries are set-up that would allow a firm to visually create such data. And perhaps the Baby Mapper people don’t see a market in other places around the world that would justify the necessary work to create maps from other countries’ databases.

Regarding the mapping of other countries, it would appear that the Baby Name Mapper folks have creatively tapped into the massive U.S. Census database.
