"Gas Exporting Countries Forum" Organization Formed

Led by Russia, fourteen natural gas-producing countries have formed an organization like OPEC to help regulate the global economy for natural gas. The member countries of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum are Algeria, Bolivia, Brunei, Venezuela, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Qatar, Libya, Malaysia, Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago.
