Feudal Territory Goes Democratic

The formerly feudal island of Sark in the English Channel have abandoned their feudal ways and have adopted a democracy under pressure from the European Union. Sark is a territory of the United Kingdom and is home to 600 residents. The island had been governed by feudal landowners for the past 450 years. The BBC has the story.
