Serbia, Ukraine and the EU?

Two reports this past week indicate that the European Union might be considering improving ties to both Serbia and to the Ukraine. While Serbia's membership might not be too far off, EU experts state that ascension for the Ukraine is a long way off.

i think that with the addition of the Baltic states and all of those countries near Russia (Ukraine and Belarus) into the EU would make Russia more inclined to be friendly with the US and the EU which could end a lot of strife in the world

I feel that Serbia and Ukraine need to work very hard for the next few years if they want to be accepted as EU members.

i think that although ukraine and serbia Will have to work hard,however they should be allowed to join the EU because of strategic means against Russia
