U.S. to Map Arctic Continental Shelf

A U.S. Coast Guard cutter, armed with scientists, is headed to the Arctic to map the continental shelf, in the ongoing battle for the resources of the north. The research will help to solidify the U.S. position in the Arctic Ocean.
