The price of oil has dropped more than $10.50 per barrel in the past few days; this should result in an about a 25 cent decrease in the price per gallon of gas at the pumps in the United States! The price of oil fell to $134.60 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange on Wednesday. Read my article to learn about how the price of gas is impacted by the world market. When gas goes down to about a dollar a gallon then I’ll get excited!!!
Here in the Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton
areas I have yet to see the price drop.
The lower price means almost nothing, especially to poorer countries, because it isn’t significant compared to the rise over the last several months. I’ll be happy when oil goes AT LEAST below 100 dollars per gallon.
