Zimbabwe Issues Half-Billion Dollar Bill

Back in January, Zimbabwe made news when they issued a $10 million bill. Unfortunately inflation in that country is so rampant that they have now issued a $500 million bill, which is worth about U.S. $2 (1.25 euro). The BBC has the story.

And I have a Z$10 bill! It was worth over US$1 in it’s day. And to think that a few zeros were taken off the money a couple of years ago. That 500 mill note would be worth 500 billion.
