The French Foreign Legion is a military organization, officered by Frenchmen but with foreigners in the ranks formed in the 19th century to fight in North Africa and later around the world. Tough fighters, an elite military outfit. Not social climbers like the Legion d’Honneur.
How would one get a list of all the people who have been awarded a medal by the French Foreign legion… i.e. Honourary Captain?
