CIA Director: Population Growth a Big Problem

General Michael V. Hayden, the director of America's Central Intelligence Agency gave a lecture where he told of the three most dangerous trends in the world. They include population growth, the growing division between the U.S. and Europe, and the increasing dominance of China. The New York Times has more on the Dot Earth blog.

The European Union, I understand, can be a threat to the United States and all it represents. The Euro has displace the U.S. dollars, and if the trends continues Europe will be so powerful that I would not be surprise to see the United States adopting their currency.
