Thanks to Famin for letting me know about a new journal that should prove interesting to the world of applied geography, Geography and Public Safety is published by the U.S. Department of Justice. The first issue is available for download for free from the previous link and while it mostly discusses GIS in law enforcement, it is nonetheless interesting.
