Welcome Aboard Amanda, Geography at About.com Intern!

I'm thrilled to announce the creation of a new position here at Geography at About.com - the position of Geography Intern. I've selected California State University, Sacramento geography major Amanda Briney to serve in this role for the upcoming Spring Semester 2008. In her role as Geography Intern, Amanda will be writing regular articles about a variety of geographic topics and helping out all across the site.
