A Very Historic Map Collection

This press release describes the fascinating map collection of the American Geographical Society Library, which has been housed at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee since 1978. The collection includes more than one million items, including many very historic maps. Unfortunately, the collection has not been fully cataloged so there many be many undiscovered treasures.
