Nokia Buying Navteq

Finland-based global cellular phone maker Nokia is buying map data company Navteq for U.S. $8.1 billion. The acquisition is expected to allow Nokia to expand the use of GPS and navigation into cellular phones and other handsets. Navteq currently provides the data behind MapQuest and Google Maps.
