I wanted to recommend two interesting items available on iTunes of a geographical nature for your iPod listening pleasure. The first the the U.S. Geological Survey's CoreCast, an audio podcast about earth science issues. Just search for "corecast" on iTunes.
Secondly, iTunes has a new iTunes U, a section of iTunes where you can download lectures from universities across the country. I discovered that UC Berkeley offers three free geography classes this semester - 1) Geography 10 - World Regions, People, and States, 2) Geography 110 - Economic Geography of the Industrial World, and 3) Geography 130 - Natural Resources and Population. To subscribe, go to iTunes U on iTunes, select UC Berkeley, and select Social Sciences and you'll find the geography courses there. Enjoy!
